Get rid of the problem of vaginal infection and itching with the help of these simple tips

Due to high humidity in the atmosphere during monsoon, the risk of many types of infection increases. Vaginal infection is a problem in women during the rainy season. Due to this, there are problems like pain, swelling, itching and rashes in the vagina.

Due to wet and tight clothes in the rainy season, bacteria start to grow, which increases the risk of vaginal infection.

If you also have the problem of itching in the private part in monsoon, then definitely follow these tips –

  • The risk of infection and itching is high during monsoon. To avoid this, clean your private parts with lukewarm water and mild soap or intimate wash while bathing. Note that do not use too strong soap or scented products, this can cause rashes in the vagina.
  • Wet clothes also increase the risk of spreading the infection during the rainy season. Wet clothing allows bacteria to grow on the skin, which increases the chances of rashes and itching. To avoid this, wear clean and dry clothes.
  • Avoid wearing tight clothes during the rainy season. Actually, wearing tight clothes obstructs the flow of air and causes more sweating. It can cause vaginal infection, vaginal itching and burning. Wear loose and cotton clothes in this season. Cotton clothes allow air to pass through easily and thereby reduce the risk of bacterial infection in the vagina.
  • During monsoon there is a shortage of fluids in the body. This worsens the pH level of the vagina and there is a risk of vaginal infection. To avoid this, drink plenty of water. Drinking 3-4 liters of water a day will keep your body hydrated and will help in flushing out the harmful substances accumulated in the body.
  • You can also do these home remedies to prevent bacterial infection in the vagina during the rainy season. Boil neem leaves in water for 10 minutes. When the water cools down a bit, clean your vagina with it. Neem has anti-bacterial properties that prevent bacteria from growing in the vagina.
  • You can also use coconut oil to get rid of itching and burning in the vagina. It has anti-fungal properties, which gives relief from vaginal infections. But make sure you use organic coconut oil.
  • You can also use baking soda to avoid vaginal infections. Baking soda has antiseptic and antifungal properties that kill bacteria in the vagina. To avoid itching and burning in the vagina, take a bath by adding baking soda to the water.
